Terrible, Terrible, Terrible! Tried reserving online, would not work, so called and set up with gentleman. Booked a two queen beach-side with a late check-in. A week before, I called and changed reservation. Night before my reservation received call asking where I was.. They had two reservations for me.. Next day, I received not one but three calls asking where I was.. It was a day early. When I arrived, on my correct day, there was no parking. I checked-in to be told told I was on second floor, court-side and price was higher. Well long story shorter, the guy was rude. Told me there was nothing he could do and then walked away. He was the original guy I made reservation with! I had to pay $100 more to get beach-front. He was openly rude to three others while I was in the office. Room was gross. Bugs smooshed all over walls, mold in bathroom. I will NEVER utilize this company again.
The stay here was comfortable enough for the price but there were some definite flaws. Most of them are to be expected but the largest issue is that my room said that it was accessible and it was not. All first floor rooms that I saw had a small step going into it. Not to mention the bathrooms would not fit a wheelchair if needed. The beach area looked nice and the breakfast and coffee were adequate but I really think it is important that businesses are honest about their accessibility and this one is not.
Room was clean, had a balcony with a great view of the beach and lake. This is a pet friendly hotel. The staff was very helpful with all of our needs and questions. We enjoyed our stay here and would come back here again.
Location was good. The bed was very hard. Would have slept better in my car. No cold water in my room. Even the toilet flushed hot water. Probably won't stay again.
I'm having a hard time even giving this place 1 star. We came with a group of girls and were able to get a room with 3 beds facing the water. That was the only thing I liked. The front desk person was friendly but charged my credit card for 5 fairy rides when my whole group paid cash. And when we went to the front desk about it a different person was working and was rude and said she couldn't help us until 930 am when the manger was back. Other complaints fridge froze all our food, room only came with 3 towels, shower was so hot I couldn't stand under it. The breakfast was like other reviews.
