Evening check in staff lacking in customer service. Rooms are dated but comfortable. The view is amazing and makes up for the rooms. Bonfire on the beach.

Except for the professionalism of the staff, this place is value for money.

However, the most disappointing aspect is the front desk staff. They were talking in some language giggling ( It sounds like they are talking about you) but not ready to help. I had to wait 5 minutes for one of them to assist me even though I was the only person in the lobby. The lady was not ready to tell me my rooms location until my credit card was charged. The nigh shift lady was very rude making me feel like I was unwanted guest there.

It was an adequate Comfort Inn. There is nothing to brag about. Our room was clean, the mattress was uncomfortable. The breakfast area was very tiny to maneuver in. The seagulls stole my children's breakfast. That was kind of funny. The outside breakfast area had a very beautiful view on the beach. Children can play in the sand and water. We walked from the inn to the local shopping places and for dinner. It's in a nice area.

Room was updated fairly recently and was pretty clean. The bathroom could have been cleaner, as there was hair on the floor and on the edge of the tub. Only one bed was usable since the sheets were too short and didn't totally cover the mattress on one of them. There were very few usable outlets also. The only one that was actually accessible was the one by the sink. The others were difficult to get to because they were behind furniture, or were too lose and things wouldn't stay plugged into them (hello, fire hazard!). The front desk staff were also not very friendly, and seemed annoyed to have to put their cell phones down to actually do their job and check me in. Very noisy place. Don't expect to get very good sleep here.

This location is very ideal for some one visiting the Island. It is located very close to the Ferry, local businesses and the beach. Though the breakfast room is quite small and congested, it has a beautiful view to compensate that inconvenience, you can even have break fast sitting on the beach. Rooms are clean and has good facilities like pool, hot tub located near the lobby.

Dated decor with spectacular views. Evening Front desk staff during check-in made me feel uncomfortable and attempted to charge me for an upgraded room because "the hotel" ran out of rooms that I booked. After I refused and requested to cancel my booking somehow they were able to give me the upgraded room without the extra charges. I usually book with this hotel chain because of the level of customer service, I was shocked to be treated this way. Sincerely, Loyal ChoiceHotelsMember
