All over, piss poor staff, rooms, and service. I will not be staying here and I'm going to make a call to corporate in the morning so they know how guest are treated.
I've actually seen worse. If you like stagnant green water you will love the pool. No wifi. Only full size beds no matter what "the internet" says. No breakfast here, other travelers tell me you get it at a sister motel down the road. No views here. Flat pillows. Hey it's the cheapest dive motel around here. Really not as bad as some of the reviews. I didnt see and bugs or filth in my room.
Horrible way to start my vacation! We get to the motel and there is a sign on the door to call a number for assistance. I called the number 13 times! No answer. So with 2 crying babies in my back seat I drove around for an hour looking for another hotel. Of course, since it's a weekend nothing was open. Finally someone at the Hamilton called and got an answer from the manager Matt. So we drive back and Matt looks like he just rolled out of bed! Obviously my husband and I were very unhappy. Do you think he did anything to fix the situation? No! We were then put into a tiny room where the air had not been on so it stunk!
The room smelled musty. The carpets were filthy. We complained. They gave us a new room. There were a pile of ants in the bathroom. We tok pics and complained again. All they offered was to change rooms yet again. Never go there!
I wish 0 stars was an option because this place was absolutely horrible. The entire first night we stayed we had no running water. The breakfast they offer was torn down an hour early. Promised coupons for different businesses around town when I reserved the room and didn't receive them until checkout. Underneath both beds it was pretty dirty. I won't reccomend this motel or stay here again. Extremely disappointed and a big waste of my money.
When we arrived around 11 pm on a Friday, the staff we encountered in the lobby were not wearing shoes. They were able to check us in, but weren't sure what room we might be in. Eventually they got that sorted and we went to our room. Our room was small, as we expected, but the walls also appeared dingy and stained. There were two spiders in the bathtub; the bottom of the shower curtain was stained orange, and the bathtub had a layer of dirt on it. We had clean towels and fresh shampoo, but the top bath towel had orange splatter stains. The faucet spurted water from three different points. The bathroom floor was sticky. The lamp and alarm clock we're both unplugged. There was no phone in the room. I went back to the lobby to get the WiFi password, which was "internet." One of the staff members was in the lobby flipping tourist pamphlets in a "making it rain" gesture. He probably launched a dozen of them! His colleague told me the password, then said that the internet was weak and iffy, so I might have to connect in the lobby and then walk back to my room. Back in the room, we inspected the sheets and blankets. We decided to put extra sheets over the mattress padding, used two blankets, and slept in our clothes. With the lights out in the room, we noticed a burned hole in the curtains. The air conditioner, when turned on, smelled like mildew. That smell remained for the rest of the night, but the room was too hot (in mid August) to not have the AC on. The mattress was stiff and loud, creaking whenever you moved on it. That made for vigilant sleeping, as did the noise from loud car engines directly outside. In the morning, we noticed that somehow the main light bulb had burned out in the room. There was no breakfast when we arrived in the lobby; no one had mentioned anything about when breakfast might be served, despite the website description. As near as we can tell, it was not. The lobby was unattended; guests checking out had apparently left their keys on the desk. In time, the attendants did emerge, disheveled, from the back of the lobby, with two overnight guests. The pool was not as pictured. Overall, while our expectations were lowered given that this was a budget in and a last minute reservation, the Capri Motel slithered beneath our already low expectations. Would not recommend. F-.
