1st room we were given the refrigerator didn't work. Front dest came right up with keys for a different room. The rooms are very spacious. Clean. Not hospital clean. We didn't have 1 problem with that. Our problem was with the housekeeping staff yelling and screaming at each other. Slamming doors. We stayed 3 days. Every day there was yelling. It was our last day when it was like a Jerry Springer show!
Larger room, with 3 queen beds, worked well for our family size without having to split into 2 rooms. Motel is a little dated, but the room was decent, and we had no problems while we were here. The staff was very friendly, and made every attempt to not only run the front desk until late at night, but they were also there in the breakfast area to greet us in the morning. A hot breakfast was served everyday, and was different each day, we appreciated​ that!! The pool was in the process of getting ready for the year, and wasn't quite ready for use.. We would stay here again
America's Best Value Inn
Couldn't even meet our low expectations for this chain. If you have to call it the best in America then I'm terrified at the demise of our country. If you're looking for a cheap, run down place to lay your head in a seemingly truck stop motel then this is your bag. I preface with "needs updating" from previous reviews is an understatement! Let me paint you a picture of the should be turquoise, now faded, worn, and dirty brown carpet. Beautiful thick floral tapestry curtains. An air-con/heat/fan unit that sounds like it's going to explode. I walked into a shower with a used, wet wash cloth hanging from the shower curtain. The water pressure/temperature was either scalding or freezing and directionally spraying everywhere, then leaving a puddle on the floor from it's aim. The WORST part is the main wall in the shower was bowed out as if it was filled with something swollen, unstable, and 9 mos pregnant ready to pop. When I told the front desk she said, thank you, have a nice day..
Great price. Clean room. Could use new mattress and some repairs. Very friendly staff. Good complimentary breakfast.
Great location. Reception/registration staff are friendly, welcoming. Nice size refrigerator and sink outside bathroom. Full hot breakfast served. Our room 204 smells "old" - unusual smell, not fresh. Bathroom is small, with clear water damage, stained tub, mold by the door. Plastic wall liner in shower is bulging. Only two thin towels. Pillows are small, skimpy.
