This restaurant was awesome. Service was excellent. The inside of the restaurant had all wood carved tables and chairs and multiple animal mounts. The woodworking was exceptional. Our food was excellent. My husband had the lasagna with a side salad and I had the Tuscan shrimp. Both were huge portions and were excellent. Our server, Bryan, was excellent also. He was right on top of everything. There were 8 in our party and everyone enjoyed their food and the whole experience. Although, somewhat pricey for a family, it was great for just a couple. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Sat us right at closing, even though we were willing to leave so as not to keep staff late. Food was out quickly, looked and tasted great! Staff was friendly and attentive. Decor is rustic and fill of stuffed wildlife.
Everything about our visit was wonderful! A party of 5 and a high chair walked in at dinner time and we were immediately seated. Our waitress (Ashley) was prompt, friendly, and very polite. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was cooked to order and to perfection. The fussy baby and older child were served first, our drinks were refilled frequently, and she made sure that we had everything we needed no matter how many times we asked for extra stuff. The restaurant wasn't slow, either, but we were treated as though we were the only table. The price may seem daunting at first, but the quality of food and service are worth every penny.
Our second stop here and once again enjoyable. This place seems to be always hopping. The staff was friendly and informative. The food should come with a warning, "hope your hungry?". The lasagna was very good and the serving size was... enormous!
This is the second time we have eaten here. Once a few years ago and then today. First time we walked in on a fight between staff. Today we were met by a young woman who was less than hospitable. Showing us to our seat was a fly by - toss the menus on the table and rush on past before we even got there. Thankfully our waiter was a little more polite. He was courteous and said hi. Hospitality must be a lost art. I have wanted to come back here because the fettuccine is the best I have ever had. Good thing the food is good because otherwise it wouldn't be worth the trip. I am normally a very generous tipper but I also expect some pleasant interactions. So here is a tip for the hard working wait staff out there. (Yes I know this as I am in the same industry) Take an extra 30 seconds to smile and let your customers know that you are a pleasant person and your happy to see them. You may be surprised to find an increase in tips! The hostess is the first face of the restaurant. When they are setting the standard of hospitality negatively it may decide just how well the customer is going to tip. Most of us have to work - you can have fun while you do it.
