Although I prefer cute places like this. I don't like "commercial" or "big name" hotels.
We stayed there this week and everything was fantastic. The room was very cute. Clean, quiet and cozy. The food was excellent. I would say hands down best food in town. I would highly recommend this place. No complaints.
Yep, sure did berate your "employees" one claimed to be the owner. But had zero professional tack, much like your media relations person. Can't believe it is so difficult to tell small children "sorry there's no public restrooms here" even on the busiest day of the season. But rather tell them that they are out of order, but with a little dontion could get fixed a little quicker. Then when confronted by the mother they snicker at what she relayed t them and then they call her children liars. To which only served to anger the mother further to which she responded by telling them to take their toilets and shove them up their a$$ and stormed out. A clear sign of anger and frustration from being treated with such extreme disrespect, not a lack of class, trust me I have So much more than you clearly have. It is evident your lack of education in customer service tactics, that will be your own undoing in your profession. Oh and I don't have to eat your cheap bar food to rate you based on my limited experience with your rude staff.
Stopped in here to get some beers appetizers and pizza. Their Pizza is really good. Their appetizers are basic bar food, you know deep fried stuff that taste funky. We got clam strips and the cocktail sauce that it came with was like a gelatin very weird. This place is extremely empty and not a lot of people are working there. The employees are very nice, and they were very attentive to our needs. This is a good spot to stop in if you are in town.
The Embers Inn was nicely decorated and the rooms were clean. The beds were comfortably firm as well. If you happen to get a room in the front, they have a nice view of the lake. It is obvious that it is an old hotel that has been updated and still has some holes to be filled in the walls and older fixtures. The water in the shower was either really hot or really cold...tough to find a happy medium. The room is pretty bare bones, just two beds, a nightstand between and an entertainment center. Overall though it was a great place to stop for a night on our way.
Horrible experience here. They did not have enough food and we waited over an hour for our breakfast. When we finally received it (only some of us) it was cold or not fully cooked. Waiting that long and only got one coffee refill and we were the only guests there! When we asked to speak to the manager he was very rude and tried blaming us for the reason they were unprepared to serve us our meals or coffee. He yelled and it was just a horrible horrible place and experience. We were there for a trip to visit my husband's father who was diagnosed with cancer and just wanted a nice place to visit with him and have a meal.. after driving over 3 hours to meet him.. Horrible. Horrible service and management.
