This is an older building, so the handicap amenities are rough, but they are there. I didn't have trouble in my wheelchair and the staff is ready and willing to help if something's out of reach.
A small grocery, but a good place to stop for a quick shopping trip if you're on vacation.
This is a family market. If you're looking for chain store experience/inventory then you'll be disappointed. But if you want fresh food, friendly staff (treated us like neighbors instead of tourists) and good prices you'll love it here. You'll also enjoy some of the handmade fudge, etc. from the area without having to fight the crowds in the specialty shops.
Customer service is always great. I visit quite often and my experience is better every time.
My service dog was readily accepted here (actually, my SD was readily accepted everywhere in the Mackinac area).
Only place in town gas and some groceries glad they are there nice people!
All in all, my husband and I enjoyed our visit and the picnic lunch we put together at the Mackinaw Family Market.
Quick and fast service. It had what I needed. We needed cough medicine, shampoo and conditioner, and body soap. It has a little of everything in the family market.
