Wonderful old time neighborhood bar that has grown into somewhat of a tourist spot because it is right of the Mackinac Island ferry in Mackinaw City. Still a great bar with good food and lots of beers. They have lts of key hanging all over the place. Great staff, nice "homey"feel.
Great keyhole in the door , if you will. All seriousness, this is an awesome little bar and grill. Great food and friendly staff. I always try and stop here whether passing through or staying in Mackinaw.. recommend it if your in town or even need a quick bite passing through. I had my food within 15 minuets, they are quick and efficient.
This place has been here a long time, rich in Mackinaw history, good breakfasts, lunches, and dinner. It's clean and reasonably priced. The service is great and the staff is friendly. In season you can expect a bit of a wait but it's worth it. Decently stocked bar, okay well drinks and a fair amount of high-end liquors. And don't forget an ice cold beer on a hot Michigan summer evening. You won't be disappointed.
Edit: reduced to three stars because it took about 20 minutes to cash out. Waitress walked by our table 3 times with payments on it.

Ordered the Original Broiled Whitefish dinner, and I added a bowl of chili. The chili had sugar in it. I don’t like sweet chili. The whitefish was cooked on top, raw on the bottom. I had to send it back. It come back warmer and more done, but not completely cooked.
